The Philippine Oil and Gas Student Summit (POGSS) is an international event organized by the
Palawan Chapter of Society of Petroleum Engineers. It was established in 2018 and was attended by students from Batangas State University, Adamson University as well as delegates from Indonesia and India.
As the event in 2018 was a huge success, the 2019 administration was pressured to keep up with the last years' achievement. The SPE-PSUSC then formed a team to make this possible. Being appointed as the creative lead for this particular event - we were able to create marketing plans and materialize them by working with several affiliates in manufacturing companies.
This was my first exposure to managing the creative process of an event. Although it was a lot of work, it was to tally worth it! I was able to create materials and stuff I've never done before. I am still up for learning more stuff to expand my skills, and I'm hoping this will be the opportunity in doing that! 🙂↕️

For the POGSS 2019, I took the liberty by adding some elements that showcase the philippine culture of festivities in an international event such as this.
The promotion of the event took a lot of effort to engage to many students as possible through social media and also email invites to other schools. We started off through posting teaser photos, registration promos and countdowns.

As the budget from the registration were being accumulated, the designing process started. I started with the merchandise including the shirt 👕, eco bags, notebooks and other freebies. Printed materials such as tarpaulin, certificates and plaques were also done alongside. Below are the merch that were manufactured for this event.

Lot of things were changed during the production of the paraphernalia as the manufacturing depends on the availability of the material. It still turned out great and the participants of the event were satisfied with the freebies that they had received.

These are the designed materials for the tarpaulins, photo booth and the awards along with their actual photos during the event.
