Brands : Sanuk

Sanuk is a Thai Cuisine established in Davao City. The owner tasked me to create a brand identity for his restaurant. He aimed for an elegant vibe that still has the Thai cultural elements on it. 

The client wanted to have an input in the process of making the logo.

There were a lot of trial and errors before getting to the final design. On the left are the two versions of the logo, which was first handwritten and I designed two variations for the dishes and the drinks - one for the main menu and the other for the drinks. 

This was inspired by the Nang Kwak, a mythical goddess in Thailand.  I did the same for the logotype which was also inspired by the Thai characters.
